I was trying to finish the part of the tome of valor quest where you protect Daphne Stillwell from the looters. There were two other players there doing the quest as well and none of us were in a party. I helped one guy finish the quest as he had already started it and then talked to Daphne and started it myself. After killing all of the waves of looters and waiting around a good 10 mins or so Daphne still had a gray checkmark over her head and talking to her wouldn’t do anything and I still had the objective to defend Daphne. I abandoned the quest to try and restart it, but I can’t get the quest again from talking to either Brandur Ironhammer in IF or Duthorian Rall in Stormwind. I also don’t have a tome of valor in my inventory to restart the quest. Nobody died during either attempt of the quest. Is there any way to get the quest again?
I had the same issue myself, I failed the quest myself and there was no question mark over daphne as well and so I figured I would abandon it so I can just retake it but now I can’t get the tome of valor and or get the quest again.
Either talking to the Brandur Ironhammer or Duthorian Hall. So I am wondering this myself. I submitted a ticket but the blizzardCS auto replied and said if this is a bug or quest thing to post here. So not sure if a GM will have to help us out or are we out of luck?
Edit: Update. Not sure if this will work for you, but for me after returning back to Daphne I noticed she had the quest marker on her head, and after accepting it and I got the tome of valor quest back. So maybe you just have to head back to her and not those people in IF or SW.
