Unable to equip new ammo

Because apparently customers have to prove the issue is not on their end before it’s believed there’s a bug. For some reason. Seems a bit ‘guilty before proven innocent’ to me.

Version: 3.4.0 (45435)
Timestamp: September 3rd 07:29 AM PST

  1. Have a hunter level 64.
  2. Have Wicked Arrows equipped.
  3. Quit WoW WotLK Classic application.
  4. Delete WTF folder from the _classic_ folder.
  5. Delete all addons from the _classic_\Interface\AddOns folder.
  6. Launch the WoW WotLK Classic folder.
  7. Level the hunter to 65.
  8. Sell Wicked Arrows.
  9. Buy Blackflight Arrows.
  10. Attempt to equip Blackflight Arrows. Fails.

Luckily buying Wicked Arrows automatically equips them but this very nearly renders hunters unplayable if they’re not already max level.

Edit: I was drag/dropping the arrows into the slot. Right clicking works.

For what it’s worth, I have a hunter equipped with Blackflight Arrows. I’ve never known arrows to automatically equip. I’ve always had to right-click on them to get them to load in the ammo slot on my character.

Ah, I was drag/dropping. Right clicking did the trick. Thanks!

Drag/drop worked for light shot but not heavy shot. I was getting super frustrated and the right clicking worked.

OMG thank you! I was trying to drag and drop my Sharp Arrow and couldn’t for the life of me figure out what was going on. Right-click worked! :pray:
