I am unable to emote while casting or swimming.
[Edited: Originally I thought I was randomly unable to emote , but it turns out it is only while casting or swimming)
Never had a problem with this… I did it a couple times yesterday. /dance and /wave while shapeshifted.
Seems to work only intermittently for me.
Have you checked your chat settings to make sure emotes are visible in your chat?
Yes, but sometimes nothing happens when I emote someone. But if I untarget them and type the emote, it works. Annoying because I wanted to laugh at this rogue that tried to gank me, and I couldn’t.
Disable your addons one at a time and see if that helps
Are you casting anything whilst doing so? Seems like I couldn’t emote while casting hearthstone/other abilities
This could be it, which is pretty stupid. I want to laugh at the enemy as I’m casting the final frostbolt that will kill him (or her).
Yeah I remember being able to emote during casting before. You’d do the /bye as you cast the killing blow, lol.
Just discovered you can’t emote while swimming either. RIP.
Neither of these was possible in Vanilla. You never could emote while swimming. You always had to jump up out of the water in order to emote. And you never could emote while casting.
You’re 100% wrong on both counts.
