I was running keys with Guildies last night (Ara-Kara around 9pm-ish EST) when my game crashed during the first boss. Attempting to log back in and Battle.net says it’s unable to connect, i tried using the WoW app itself and it won’t connect either, i cannot access WoW/Blizzard forums on either my PC or my mobile (while connected to wifi, turning it off is how i’m able to access the forums and post this).
I have not received an email or message saying I’ve been suspended or banned so I do not know what is causing this, is it a sudden ISP issue or something to do with Battle.net?
Ive tried:
Restarting my modem.
Leaving my modem off for 15 minutes.
Logged out all devices on Battle.net via mobile and reset password.
Uninstalled and reinstalled Battle.net.
Nothing.
When i launch Battle.net it opens with attempting to auto-log in even though those fields are blank and doesn’t give me the option to enter anything. Hitting Retry just does the dame thing, no opportunity to fill out the log-in myself.
It’s just Blizzard related things I can’t access, everything else on the internet i can access just fine (wowhead works, but if i try to log in to my account via Battle.net instead of manually logging in it freezes as well).
That indicates an issue with your isp.
It could be their routing or an issue with something they changed around qos or an equipment failure. You need to contact your isp.
After walking the kitties and calling my ISP (they kinda just shrugged and scratched their head), i looked up other options to try but when i got home and clicked Battle.net it actually gave me the log on option so i was able to fill everything out.
So, yay! But hopefully it was just a freak one occurrence.
