I think this is the second time this has happened and am wondering what’s going on.
Just did this quest and it doesn’t give me the monetary reward; the text is “darkened” and there’s a check mark on it but it’s not “finished” because I didn’t earn the reward.
What’s the fix?
Had the same thing happen to me with last week’s world boss. It said I had killed the boss, but the quest never completed. I even logged completely out, logged back in and killed it a second time but it never would complete.
Happened to me as well. Did a brief search and no one else mentioned it so thought it was just me and i didn’t care enough to make a thread. Glad to see it’s not just me.
Just happened to me. Joined raid group, kill it, was able to loot corpse. World Quest info in quest log is grayed out but no actual credit for quest completed. I still have the little icon up on the world map.
Try leaving the quest area and returning (when the boss is up again). One time when this happened to me, it auto-completed upon re-entering the WQ area.
