I am currently unable to complete the Night Fae Queen’s Conservatory quest “Becoming a God” as I was in a raid group when I originally released the spirit from the wildseed as part of the quest. I have tried abandoning and restarting the quest, but since the wildseed has already been looted, I am unable to complete that step on the quest and progress further into the Queen’s Conservatory.
My warlock’s dreams of becoming a gardener in the afterlife have been crushed.

Same issue here. Looted while in a raid group and now can’t progress.
Luckily, I was able to “plant” an uncommon spirit that I got from a Maw quest. Looks like it will take three days to germinate, but I am hoping that will allow me to progress on this quest.
I’ve got the same issue here, saw the warning on Wowhead in the comments after it had happened too.
Same issue and zero constructive response from support. Perhaps the ability to delete the conservatory opening and start over? I’d pay the costs again just not to be stuck like this. Or perhaps a place to buy another seed to plant so I can re-Greet a God.
Thanks!
Edit: So I found an anima spirit in Torgast or somewhere, planted it (72 hour plant time) and when it hatched I was able to complete the quest and move on!

Also was in a group and same issue
Theres nothing bugged. You only had to wait 1 hr. If you target the seed you will see a buff showing the time remaining

I wasn’t able to talk to the hatched being. If I moved a ways back I could get the talk bubble to show, but wasn’t within the proper distance to actually talk. I used soulshape, and timed the flicker spell at the right time. So I moved back to get the chat bubble as an option, but was greyed cause of the distance. I used flicker, and right clicked almost at the same time. This allowed me to talk to it.
