I’ve completed the world quest “Dragonrider Racing - Flowing Forest Flight” on both basic and advanced at Gold level and have been unable to trigger the completion of the world quest.
I have already completed all the races and achieved the title/all achievements, so perhaps it is related to it already being done?

I’m encountering the same thing.

This happened to me too
I was able to complete it by going away to do other quests and returning later. I noticed that when it worked, the quest continued to show in my quest tracker for the duration of the race. When it didn’t work, it disappeared from my tracker during the race.

Same deal here. Finished “Azure Span Sprint” with a gold and no quest completion.

Make sure that you’re not passing near another “world objective” during the flight. Other world quests, hunts - anything which automatically brings up the objective prompt. As soon as you encounter one of these it seems it “forgets” you’re even on the racing WQ.
Completing the other nearby objective will stop it from interfering, as will it timing out.

So I found if you dismount and start the race it gives you a dragon, as opposed to whatever one you were sitting on and thats how I got credit.

This worked for me as well. Thanks for suggesting something I didn’t think of.
Great tip here. I was stuck with that issue for a while. It worked like a charm.
Yeah there’s no other nearby objective for me. No matter how many times finish the race I don’t get credit.
I’ve done the garden gallivant on different characters and 1 character managed to get it done after the 2nd go the the other character has done 2 tries and nothing
Worked for me too! Thanks!!
Still having the same problem in May 2024… tried the dismount thing, but no dice. Will just wait til grand Hunt in the zone is over and try later.
