Quite interesting that they still award Conquest in this week’s quests considering you can’t even buy anything with it

Any conquest you get this week will be reset next Tuesday. You won’t be able to buy the new honor or conquest gear until next Tuesday. However, this week you CAN work on getting the new blue world pvp gear.
You can buy BOE green PvP gear or WPvP blue gear. But yea, seems like Honor gear should be implemented this week

it really should be. especially for the new players that just returned and have no way to compete with prev conquest people face stomping them all day

Yeah, this is my best S1 geared char and no one wants them healing. WPvP sucks as a healer, part of the healer tax that makes the role so darn popular.
You can buy glorious medal of honor from the honor vendor and pass it to your alts. This way you can continue playing your main for the week and the honor gains won’t be completely pointless. Sure, it costs 2500 for only 1500 honor, but at least you don’t have to play the alts this week to cap them at 15k honor

It’s unfortunate yes, I just returned and I was saving my conquest to buy at least the weapon, 1500 conquest down the drain… would have bought a piece of gear if I knew

Its really odd
you could buy gear last night after the patch dropped… some time overnight they disabled the old gear… very odd (and dumb) decision…
S3 honor gear will replace S2 conquest gear so don’t feel bad about not being able to buy any conquest gear right now.
I’m looking forward to being able to do that!

I was excited to get started today with season 3 in PvP. Came in to find that there is no honor or conquest gear to be had for a week. There’s no reason to work on increasing rating cuz it’ll all be wiped in a week. So, basically there’s nothing for me to grind in PVP and I have to take a week off. I already got the 15K honor on my alts ready for the gear. There’s no reason to have to slowly grind the bloody token gear because it will become obsolete in a week.

Without looking, I’m guessing by fixed you mean they added the old season 2 stuff back in to the vendors? Doesn’t seem like there’s any reason to buy them right now as they will be obsolete on Tuesday and you will have wasted your honor and conquest.
Conquest resets next week so might as well spend it now 
However, honor persists so I save it up
I think I heard somewhere that the conquest turns into honor on Tuesday, up to 15K total when combined with the honor. So if you had 13,000 honor and 2000 conquest, then the 2K conquest would convert to honor and you would cap out at 15,000 honor on Tuesday with the two added together.
