Unable to access 8.2 recipes after switching professions

I have recently switched out one of my professions for engineering. I leveled it to 150 but I’m unable to access the new 8.2 recipes at all. The trainer in Nazjatar does not offer me the option to “Train me in Engineering.”

I am not sure about the quest lines, if it can affect the trainers, but have you finished the introduction quests in the area?

Yes. The trainer gives me the option to train in my other profession, Jewelcrafting, just not Engineering.

A couple things:

  1. have you learned Engineering? It may not be offered by the Nazjatar trainers if the base one isn’t already learned.
  2. There is more than one profession trainer in Nazjatar. Have you checked them all?
  3. Have you tried the Engineering trainer(s) on Mechagon?

This was fixed. I was talking to the wrong NPC, because I’m a silly person.

Sounds like he had been talking to Okanu, who does JC, and then later found Alikana, who does Engineering.
