PLayers (myself included) can’t complete Khaz Algar Safari achievement as Umbral Amalgam isn’t spawning. When can we expect this to be fixed? 
Would love to be able to finish this up

Been trying to find him for a few days, haven’t seen one. I also just need this pet for the achievement.

I have also done multiple shadow phase battles (around 200+ battles) over the last two days and have yet to see a single one, I can’t complete the achievement either, very frustrating.

I am on US-Thrall and also have done 200+ shadow phase battles looking for Umbral Amalgam and it’s not in front or back line pets. Looking at all of the forum posts, this should be listed as a known issue that Blizzard is working on. We cannot complete the achievement Khaz Algar Safari without it. I have submitted a bug report.

Same here; it’s been suggested that something has been bugged since 11.0.5, as no one has seen hide nor hair, or rather wispy voidness of the Umbral Amalgam.

I’m just now getting to the pet battles part of the expansion and of course, the very last one I need is seemingly bugged since the last patch lol. It’s my kinda luck. Hopefully Blizzard sees all the bug reports (sent one in too). I’ve gone through so many pet bandages cuz of this dang thing LOL

My wife is disabled and hasn’t left the house in 3 years. World of Warcraft is her escape. She and I have played World of Warcraft almost from Day One, since before the first expansion. It seems almost par for the course at this point for us to have worked so hard to gather all the battle pets to complete Khaz Algar Safari, then find that the last one we need, Umbral Amalgam, isn’t spawning. Honestly, it makes me really angry at Blizzard, that they’re not responding to this known issue. My wife was so excited to get the adorable Waxwick battle / companion pet, and was so deflated when she found out Umbral Amalgam was bugged and she couldn’t complete the quest. And when she realized it she said “it’s par for the course for Blizzard”. I wish it wasn’t. I’ll be surprised if this is ever even responded to, much less corrected.

So my friend and I were flying aorund looking for it. I flew over one and jumped down and was yelling GET IT GET IT!!!
he couldnt see it. It literally was not there for him.

Please explain why I could see it and he could not.
Dont get me wrong, it’s not like we just flew over and there he was… we have been looking for him for weeks. But how come my friend cant see him and is this why other people cant find him?
