Was this a stealth nerf? We can’t save up honor playing bgs anymore level 60-69? No honor rewards for winning? So we can’t get gear when we hit 70? We just have to hop in completely ungeared!? LOL
As if Demon Hunters, Fury Warriors and Shadowpriests being MASSIVELY overtuned and down right BULLIES in PVP ( yay balance team ) wasn’t enough, you guys do THIS?
I KNOW it was changed because on my other toon last week I farmed a bunch of honor from winning BG’s level 67-70 and was able to get a bunch of basic level 70 PVP gear upon hitting 70.
My level 67 alt just did several bgs, but got NO honor rewards from winning and is sitting at 360 honor total.
It doesn’t even offer honor for winning, just XP and “crate of battlefield goods”

How are people cheesing things by… simply playing the game at a lower level? They’re allowed to prep for gear for max level too.
This was likely done to deter people from abusing party sync, but nobody was using party sync to actually farm honor. Literally nothing is going to stop that except disabling the feature entirely for BGs.

That too, party sync makes it abusable and it needed to be addressed. its blizz saying “we want you playing at lvl 70, not mid-levels”.

Well thank you for the heads up after doing the quest slog one time and not having a fate option i thought pvp would be better now I know even that is pointless for alts.

I’m not even a pvp fanatic but a few rounds in a BG vastly improves the competence of the player in question.
You don’t need to like it, but peak WoW is being competent in both pvp and pve.

Likely better for the game.
I’m in favor of PvP being removed all together from the game.
Blizzard can create a lightly moderated battle arena for people who PvP in this game and equalize all gear/stats.
Outside of Arenas, you’ll be confined to a dueling lobby with chat disabled.

I… don’t think doing 60-69 BGs while levels 60-69 is cheesing, mate. This change effectively screwed over people that are legitimately that level, and it will have little to no impact on the use of level syncing.

PvP is toxic.
My only gripe is that they removed spit from the game rather than removing it from PvP.
The PvP community caused every scandal in this games history.

??? It isn’t cheesing. If you intend to pvp, it only makes sense you level by doing BGs so you can buy the pvp gear for when you hit 70 which you would then use in pvp. . .
340 gear ain’t gonna do jack in PvE content.

Then remove gear progression from world quests, reputation, and LFD.
We should all have greens and stay with greens until we are raiding mythic difficulty. Stop abusing the crutches.
