This same thing happened to me on my evoker a couple weeks ago, and I was pretty much told “too bad,” and robbed of loot. Got to Ultraxion in Dragon Soul (solo) and accidentally hit disintegrate. Boss died so fast that it apparently didn’t register that I killed it, and made me unable to loot the chest. The chest spawned but it won’t let me click. I already know loot won’t show up in the mail from when it happened a couple weeks ago. Please fix! This is the second time I have had this happen in here, and the whole reason I am running it in the first place is for the mounts. This doesn’t happen on any other boss in DS, only Ultraxion… fancy that.

Until it’s fixed, can you use something weaker? Say, the plain old auto attack with your mace to inflict damage then nuke it.
yeah it is a problem with any boss that drops a chest. If you kill them too quickly it can glitch out and register that you did not tag them. But you still get locked to them.
It has been around for a long time.
