What are all your thoughts on how possible this is? I’m considering giving it a go on one of my characters to see how far I get.
Without Questie one wrong turn in the world or misreading the instructions in a quest log could mean the difference in life or death lol.
If you ask me, you never truly played Classic if you used Questie. I only would approve Thottbot.
I’m playing w/o Questie to focus on my surroundings more than maps.
You don’t need addons to play Classic, let alone questing ones.
So many people wanna insult retail while using/paying for a guide that tells them every single step to take.

I am questie less for now since even though I updated ithe game is saying add ons out of date. So I have everything, even elvui, off right now. LUA pop hell can suck so I wait till it settles.
How hard this can be is based on how well you know the game. I don’t need questing till 30 for night elf or human. I’ve seen both areas usual till 30 run in wrath recently.
One of the community challenges was called Bloodbath. -0 Questing period.

It’s actually really easy if you’ve leveled in Classic/Vanilla dozens of times lmao. I have it installed, but rarely need to use it
I never used Questie, and I have declined grouping up with anyone using it after the first few times - look for this in Chat: “Looking for more for: Quest Name [Quest Number]”
Playing addon free makes you much more avare of your suroundings. It is a good way to play.

Exactly. If someone was new or hadn’t played in a very long time I could see where it might be a thing. Or if you only played one faction and decided to play the other or something.

Thottbot is questie and it always was. The only difference was that one required you to alt/tab to your browser.
What then is? Just curious - migth do if I can jump over my opwn shadows AND get an Iron to level 60
Well, I mean, ultimate to me sounds like you’d try to make the most difficult challenge because it ultimately is going to whoop a player’s butt. xD
Being that ultimate is defined as “the best achievable or imaginable of its kind”; I’d imagine that you would use no gear, weapons, no professions or quests (if you could even do them), no food, etc, but also, this sort of challenge just seems so over the top.
You’d make some sort of world record prob unless it’s already been done, but then its, who can do it the fastest. It just doesn’t seem fun though lol.
The fact that permadeath is already on the table is good enough for me.
I appreciate the OPs personal insight because some people can’t do without quest trackers pointing you in the right direction in MMOs these days for the most part; for those who can’t do without, that may be their ultimate challenge.
I think from person to person it may vary if it’s being looked at from a personal standpoint since most of these challenges are imposed by ourselves.
