Been having Total Warhammer 3 on the brain lately and got to thinking. What would happen if the Horde and Alliance just evaporated and all the races went to war against each other. Who’d come out on top? I’m talking a giant free for all.
Would probably end up as void elves vs light forged in the end, so basically kind of what Midnight is anticipated to be.
I guess whichever race has the most strength, weapons, and most importantly, number. So maybe orc. All races have magic now so it’s probably down to strength.
I mean a group of orcs (and some goblins) nearly beat everyone
So I’d guess if all orcs went together, we’d clean house
After DF the dragons have the most juice, there’s a decent chance they’d come out on top and if they started losing they’d probably just go back in time and use the Horde and Alliance to wipe out whichever force was killing them.

I assume humans would kill everyone if suddenly everything was separated off by race.
Do we include the mechoriginator? 
edit: Nevermind, the mechoriginator should be reserved for the ending cinematic. 
Funny enough, the Scarlet Crusade is the strongest example for what happens when the humans try to fight everyone. 
You aren’t wrong that the crusade’s role is loot piñata, but humans have a certain element of plot armor that I suspect would hold through a free for all which wouldn’t for the others.
The last time I participated in one of these threads, I said “nobody wins because nothing really ever changes in Azeroth” and the writers promptly burned down my tree.

That’s what the devs/writers called it.
Still makes me perish how they were going to do that. At least we didn’t actually get Arbiter Sylvanas.
Arbiter Sylvanas would’ve meant she wasn’t coming back to the mortal world.
Instead there’s room for her to come back into the story later.
Gnomes.
They’ll just wait in their bunkers and watch everyone else beat each other over the head then when the time is right they will launch a army of terminators and Azeroth will be “Terminated”.
Draenei, they have a spaceship with a giant laser.

Would make sense with the split soul. 
Although Kael’thas feels like the acceptable choice to return. Especially with how many interactions he should have.
