Am I just really unlucky, or is Ulduar only dropping tier tokens from 25-man?
Can’t you like, go to Dalaran and just buy that tier set appearance with gold?
no you can’t. you need the tier tokens. also i think their might be a bug in ulduar where it only drops 10 or 25 man tier tokens due to it being a timewalking raid now.
Not all 5 pieces. I’m only getting wayward tokens. I need the ones that dropped in 10-man.
Edit: I think I may be on to something. The merged Ulduar used to drop both types of tokens, but now it just drops wayward tokens, but the vendors in Dalaran let you buy either type of tier piece for a wayward token. If you just right click the token, you’ll get a conqueror item instead of a valorous item. This tidbit is important to know for anybody farming tier from Ulduar.

Okay, so all the tokens say wayward, but one will say mantle and the other will say shoulderpads. It’s hard to know exactly what rank of tier you’re going to get until you right click the token.
hasn’t this been an issue for a while? I haven’t seen anyone bring it up recently but I swear I remember reading a thread like this a year or so ago.
I think after they merged 10 and 25 man for Ulduar, the boss loot tables shifted. For example, Thorim used to drop the 25 man shoulder token, now that comes off Yogg. I honestly think merging the two difficulties was a massive mistake.
