Hello, anyone got any alternatives to Aurora ? as that doesnt work for 10.1 and does not seem to be getting updated.

Currently I am using ELVUI LOGIN SCREEN AND CHARACTER SELECT texture pack in my interface folder to get some cleaner looking textures for my frames / tooltips etc.

Don’t like how skinner looks and I do not know of any other alternatives that are not massively outdated

It was updated 2 weeks ago, what makes you think it’s dead?

Skinner is quite solid and is always up to date. It requires some setup, though.

Edit: Apologies, I didn’t see your last sentence about Skinner.

All good, only thing I dont like about skinner is the glossiness and I cant seem a way to make the background more transparent.

If there is a way to make it more transparent and no gloss texture I would use it.

That’s how I have mine setup :

Something like that ?

  1. Skinner → Background
    Disable “Use Background Texture”
    Select “None” at “Background Texture”
  2. Skinner → Backdrop
    Backdrop Texture: Select Blizzard Tooltip (it’s a little transparent by default)
  3. Skinner → Colours → Backdrop Colour
    Pick a color (very dark gray in my screenshot) and play with the Alpha slider to choose your transparency

It should do what you’re looking for :slight_smile:

Wrap your links in code tags (</> button in the editor), instead of rewriting them :slight_smile:

That mostly works but my menu buttons are still the default red. Im sure I must be missing an option somewhere.

EDIT: found it in the modules section to skin the default buttons.
