So I log in, setup my UI through the edit mode, saved it and everything, then when i log out and back in, its all reset and the save i made is gone like i never made it all. Kinda infuriating especially since i spent that time setting it up AND SAVING IT!

I’m having the same thing happen, so is my spouse. Sought help on Twitter only to have people tell me I wasn’t saving it, really - because there are only so many ways that you can hit a freaking save button, and I’ve tried them all.

Have you tried creating a “new layout” and saving it through that profile?

I have, numerous times. Layouts disappear after relogging. Even though they I can freely switch between them while logged in.

Hm. On the “new layout” are you applying it to specific characters or is it a universal profile? I have mine on universal. Just trying to narrow down the variables.
Are you also logging out or closing the game completely and re-launching? I think there was a small update just now that I had to download.
I’ve tried both, I’ve disabled all my adds, and I’ve updated with that small update.

I’m out of ideas, sorry. Hope it gets fixed soon it sounds frustrating.
It just happened to me again. I was in a epic bg and the game crashed and when i logged back in, my UI had been completely reset even though i created a new layout and saved it multiple times. It completely deleted the new layout. This same issue was occurring in the beta and I’m surprised it never got fixed and made it into live based on how many times the issue was reported. Nobody has been able to find a solution so far because it happens so sporadically.

I’ve tried all the advice I’ve gotten so far to fix this issue. I deleted the WTF, Interface and Cache files, I’ve disabled or deleted all addons, I’ve reset and repaired the game… nothing fixes this. The profile name will save but none of the layout actually saves. When I log back in the bars and crap are all over the screen and all the wrong sizes.
Hey! Try leaving all the checkboxes CHECKED, save and leave them checked when you exit the Editor. It saves for me if i leave it all checked. Logged out and back in and still saved as I arranged it.
The thing i find funny is that the small percentage of players that come to the forums or whatever looking for bug fixes might find there way around this situation, but the vast majority of players are probably having an awful time of things right now. This patch needed another week in the oven.

most of my UI saves, except for the extra action buttons & vehicle exit…it won’t let me put them anywhere and resets to its default position, even after i save and edit my layout
So what the he// are we suppose to do now…spend hours fixing it every dang time we log in …that’s not how it suppose to be or work…
This happened to me the first time and didn’t save my layout so I could use it on my other characters. I had to log out, back in, fix everything, save, wait for a bit, then log out and hope and pray. The second time it stuck, but I still reported the bug.
Clearing cache and WTF folder is working for some.

My layouts get completely wiped out. Relogging, just switching chars, anything… Once I log out of a char, no matter how many times I save the layout, when i log back in the layout(s) is gone… Like I never did anything…
