Since the WW launch, I have not been able to play retail WOW on my MacBook Pro. The problem usually begins on the character select screen: characters are metallic grey blobs or the screen itself flashes black and pink. Changing from fullscreen to windowed seems to delay the problem until after loading into the world, but whether it happens on character select or after, the screen begins flashing black and/or pink, making it impossible to interact with in-game menus to view or adjust settings. I was able to set graphics quality to 1 before losing control of the screen in-game yesterday.
This could be a graphics/graphics setting issue, but I am not sure what I should adjust. This MacBook has been running WOW beautifully until WW launched (specs shared below). I am on the latest version of Sonoma and there are no other updates pending. I have scanned/repaired WOW multiple times, fully removed add-ons, and finally uninstalled and reinstalled WOW with no success. In contrast, the game runs fairly well on our older PC at low graphics settings.
