Any healers here have a UI Addon that you recommend. I want to play Discipline in both PvE and PvP.
“Cell” is getting pretty popular.
It’s pretty fancy, and I don’t use it myself, but it allows for Profiles, so imports and exports work. You can probably find a good profile for it.
I normally just use the default raid frames, and place the groups in the bottom middle of my screen. A few WAs to monitor things on the raid frames and it’s all good for me.

Seriously, that’s all I use (in PvE). It has auto-assist casting and mouseover casting baked into its settings.
In PvP, I also use threat plates (which are broken at the moment) and BigDebuffs.
Yep, me too. Another plug for Vuhdo. There is a bit of a learning curve for configuration, but once you get past that, it’s by far the best healing addon IMO.

I think there are, I think that’s how I learned it (it’s been like 14 years since I switched from Healbot). There is also a discord server.
It boils down to a few basic things really. You set up your panels for different group sizes. Then you set up keybinds for different classes/specs, set up HOT’s, and name them. Then you just set it to automatically load the right profile for group size, and the right keybind for whatever class/spec you’re on.
The configuration makes sense once you’ve done it a few times, but if you go in blind it will definitely confuse you.

Healbot is the best place to start. It’s got most of your basic indicators defaulted into the app. That gives you an idea of what you will eventually want to see in your final interface.
After some time though, many people migrate to Clique with ElvUI (some people like Grid, but I don’t). It takes a lot of setup, but it’s more configurable. I would not recommend starting with that, but you can run both in parallel.
BTW, HB is perfectly fine for anything. I like it better than Clique because it doesn’t mess with my normal raid frame buttons. Its only downside is that it’s difficult to combine a hover and a keyboard-press (you have to press a mouse button). I’m not even sure if it’s possible with macros, but I can’t remember for sure.
tl;dr - Use Healbot for now.
Half the dedicated healing addons people will list are clicking - lite.
Just use default and maybe mouseover macros if you want (no idea if the in-game setting works as well as the usual macros).
Can grab Grid if you want to mess with more customizable raid frame indicators and such without diving into ElvUI.
Don’t even really need mouseovers either tbh. Technically they’re more efficient, but like 90% of the time lag on healing someone is getting to the nameplate in the first place, not so much the act of clicking to target them.
