I was wondering if there was a built in way for WoW to remember Hotbar skill positions.
When you change spec, the Hotbar skill order is remember per spec. So I can have all my skills in their correct slots.
But when I Edit the UI for different size screen for different devices, I haven’t figured out how to have the Hotbar skill position saved.
The reason is mainly for comfort purposed, as I recent started using ConsolePort to casual outdoor quest level my alts, while waiting for the next expansion.
I like to outdoor quest with DPS spec using ConsolePort, but when it comes time to run a dungeon, I don’t want to be rude and slow down the runs with controller clumsiness during more intense portions of boss fights.
I have found that there is a different button press flow and skill placement on the hotbar between Controller and KB+M
Ideally I would want to be able to go to character select screen, turn off Console Port Addon, log back in, switch the to correct UI layout, and not have to rearrange the skills on my hotbar.
If there is no solution, then I’ll just keep continuing my current rearranging solution. It adds a slight amount of setup time, as I have to match the different UI layouts to screenshots from my iPhone, unfortunately; I think I got slight spoiled by FF14’s UI interface flexibility
