Initially, I thought I wasn’t going to like the UI - looked weird on streams and on YouTube videos I had watched. After playing the beta for a bit, I gotta say that I really don’t mind it as much. It’s proving to be a good middle ground between modern and classic (especially with the Classic layout).
The only things I think would make it even better are out-of-the-box (no add-on) customization of:
- Bar textures
- General color (for example, I’d like to use the color palette of Classic instead of the Bronze looking implementation we currently have)
- Font & Font size slider

I’m not a hater because I haven’t used the default Classic UI since 2007 anyway. For the most part I think I can get this to work without addons, but I’d really like :
- Broader functionality to the click-casting feature, so it works like Clique without me having to take up a ton of macro slots to do the same thing. And profiles would be helpful.
- More customizable unit frames. (Can’t add or customize health bar/power bar text? At least let me color target health bar by class?)

Another thing actually would be to toggle the classic quest log (extended). Especially when using the “Classic” play style which disables quests POI and such. Having the map open every time I want to look at quest text is just too much.
You can change it later with addons like ALL wow games currently out.
