The low playerbase of cata is, I agree.
I wish it was higher because that failure is going to lead to less development for other wow things like SOD and beyond.
More of you need to get into the cash shop ASAP
Our guild cleared BWD, Tot4W and BoT but did not do logs and will not next week either.
I just bought 4 tokens off the AH.
Cata is just as easy as any other version of wow if were talking pve.
Cata isnāt hard. Sod isnāt hard. Classic wasnāt hard.
I do enjoy arena and feral is probably its best version of any expac in cata. My issue is its dead.

Heroic LK had like a 5% clear rate pre buff and im most likely being slightly generous.
Cata raids are overall harder.
Iām not saying they are hard for me but for this player base, they for sure are.
You donāt even play a version of the game that doesnāt have target dummy raids.

The raid has been out for 3 days and 10m now drops the same loot as 25 so some people are doing that instead.
My grobb charās guild had a few non logged runs.
They were going wth, We arenāt 100% preraid bis. Screw it, itās something to do.
They cleared in time. Logging is turned on later since its first week. Itās dress rehearsal time for many Iād gather.
The logs and pretty parses come later. When you know they may be ugly, why show em lol.

The irony is that leading up to this some people were heavily defending cataclysm and/or Blizzard.
And I still will defend cata, it has been great so far.
Much better than phase 1 wotlk.

Yep. The usual rants about first week raid coming end of week is some guilds have Tuesday or Wednesday raid night.
Iād wager a few crews had irl take priority. They will be there in force later.
Or sneak in a Monday run. It how irl goes lol. I binge leveled this weekend as I lose 2 nights this week. Wow those nights will beā¦fishing daily.
All Iād have time for. A few minutes found to see if get that fishing pole lol.

Idk maybe Raiding is the least fun thing you can do these days in a game. That could be it.
Because they get ignored and muted so much they have to keep making alts so they can be seen.

Itās really weird for someone that doesnāt like the expansion to be THIS concerned with the player count. It smells more of desperation and a desire to vent and cope than anything else.
This logic doesnāt track at all. Retail numbers being low is what led to Classic in the first place. Failures of other products lead to innovations in others, not less.
