Mmm, I don’t think a .01% drop chance off of very few mobs is an “easy drop.” I suspect just about everyone else would disagree with your incorrect opinion.

Technically Lariat is not bad at all. It’s just outclassed by double Shadowflame (Blue Silken Lining is not consistent in a lot of content due to high damage intake) and it’s hard to justify using a crafted neck as one of your two valuable Embellishments when there are excellent necks from Vortex Pinnacle, Assault of the Zaqali, and Uldaman that are quite easy to obtain.
It’s hard to justify sinking that much gold into a Lariat recipe when Lariat is just not that amazing anymore. In S1 it was almost universally BiS for every single spec and still very competitive even for the others, but now it’s just not BiS except in specific AoE situations.

Well you know what im going to say, if you dont wanna farm the rare recipe you gota pay
while it may not be weak , it takes up one of your embelished slots . For a lot of classes there is better options for those slots . Doesnt matter how the lariat compares with other necks , it teh total effect from all gear that matters

been farming constantly since the very beginning. Hundreds and hundreds of hours spent in storms , stll no Lariat --its how it goes , I have had really good luck on other things in the game . All is good , this how it should work

Not alot of people have it on my server and my server is one of the top… i think i spent like one hour or more looking for someone with it
Me and my guildie spent 2 months after finishing last raids farming for this. We both work from home so it was good AFK content while working.
Needless to say, neither of us got it after 50+ days of farming this. It is very annoying that you are time gated heavily.
