Ug, is this really the intro music we have to hear for 2 years?

It’s either really bad or just not my taste. I mean it’s not chalkboard screeching, but it’s not even above elevator music imo.

uggggggggggggggggggg so disappointing. Maybe there’s an addon to revert the intro music on the starting screen to and older expansion?

Not gonna lie- It felt so generic compared to all the other intros, even Shadowlands.

I think it generally has to do with the fact that Dragonflight being an “Azeroth is healing” expansion, so the music kinda reflects feel-good moments in it, but we’re all used to hearing forboding intro music for a long time now.

It’s the best login music since Legion; if you don’t have good taste then just disable the music

It’s not bad, but what’s missing is the “oomph”, the epicness. It’s the same slow beginning with quiet harmonies like SL and BfA and the signature melody from every login music therefore doesn’t really hit.

I don’t think I’ve minded any of the expansions’ login music, with the only sound related annoyance in that realm being the WotLK dragon roar (which is not a problem in Classic now that the Bnet client logs you in instantly).

Whether it’s good or bad, doesn’t bother me when I only spend about 5 seconds in the login screen.

It grew on me the more I listened to it. I really like it now.

I liked it. It’s gonna sound stupid but when I listen to it, I get a game of thrones feel off of it. Like house Stark sounding. :nerd_face: :joy:

The start reminds me of the start to the main menu music for dragon age origins so that got a chuckle out of me.

The music that plays for like what 10 seconds while loading to the character screen and another 3 while logging in? It’s not great no but not worth complaining over. It’s gone so quickly.

Yeah it’d be nice to be able to choose older music. I’d take Shadowlands with it’s Revendreth Waltz over whatever this composition is.

Yeah, I’m sick of it already, honestly.

Been playing WotLK Classic, and realized how much I prefer that login screen music over any of the other xpacs.
