While I don’t mind the idea you might as well remove both and have it scale based on key level alone.
Just found out they are indeed removing sanguine. And there was much rejoicing.

Been saying this for years, and yep
These changes are probably an overall nerf for 2-9 but radically more difficult 10 and much, much more so 12 and up.
Me like idea.

Interesting change. My gut reaction is they may actually want +10 or higher to be harder than your average Mythic raid mechanically to make up for the fact its infinitely easier to organize… so when you get comparable rewards for it, one is just clearly not the inferior method of getting top Ilvl gear…
… just totally guessing out of my bum though.
I’ll be more curious to see how affixes like Ascendant play out. How often it happens, what exactly disrupting the orbs means… will it be like explosive where you have to kill them, do you just body block them, do you have to CC them, etc. Hopefully they don’t make it just plain annoying.
It’s going to make getting portals slightly harder, that’s for sure, but Xal’atath’s Bargains might offset the change a little.
I don’t think it will be that bad. I was still under the impression we would be having bolstering and sanguine which slows pulls down and would kind of suck to have fortified every week.
With the affixes being just a increased penalty timer to deaths (I like this affix) and a real kiss curse affix I think its a lot more reasonable now than I did.
I think it should largely be fine, too, but I think we might see some nerfs to Tyrannical and Fortified at some point. The affix that removes the kisses from Xal’s Bargains and ups mob damage is going to be…interesting at +12 and up.
Yeah I think we might want to bring execution classes that week. Warriors might see easier pugging than they have this expansion with the lack of CC.
