What’s going on here? Teldrassil was destroyed, elves killed, forests defiled.
She performed this dangerous ritual to become the avater of Elune and then disappears from the battlefield.
All this build up for what? How long do we have to wait to see her in action?
I mean, if she is not in Darkshore and now that we know she is not going to fight Azshara then where the hell is she?
Same with Malfurion. He got that new bear model and then… puff? One scenario and job done? He has a couple lines in Darkshore but besides that he is not fighting.
What’s worse is that Blizzard has not used them for anything important like Darkshore or Nazjatar but they made them show up to witness Anduin get his new boat. That’s a waste of character developement.

Has anyone found any hint of their whereabouts? or any hint of what they’re going to be used for in the future? because so far this has not been a NE friendly expansion at all.

I agree, knowing Blizzard it is just another Legion-Jaina case, they are probably fighting in Darkshore or Ashenvale but we don’t see them in game.
Blizzard should really replace Shandris by Tyrande or Malfurion against Azshara, I like Shandris but she has no history against Azshara and we need to see more of the Night Warrior.

What worries me is that Tyrande is the only canonical NPC to have received the black eyes, while Malfurion, Shandris, Mordent Envershade and probably Maiev are still normal. This and her absence seems to indicate that the Night Warrior will not end well…

We are still early in the development since we can’t go into Nazjatar yet but I really hope that we will see more nelf story.

Well the probability is more in favor of Shandris seen she is comfirmed to be somwhere there too.

Sylvanas will die in 8.3 and… that’s it.

Maybe in a future patch you’ll be forced to kill Night Elves who still want vengeance for Teldrassil… as an Alliance character. I mean look at what they’re doing with the Horde this patch.
