Tyrande isn't crazy

If a Shaman was to focus nature damage onto a stone block, in theory the stone would shatter.

/Reason for knowing this, you can’t weld something like metal plates while they are resting on concrete stone as it will explode small chunks.

Well humans are pretty terrible, i should know i am one and i know several.

She’s just misunderstood

I remember reading about exploding rocks in High School. It has something to do with rapid temp change due to heat and the water contained within the stone. You can see rocks explode in campfire pits as an example of this happening.

That said, I’m almost positive Zul was a Shadow Priest and didn’t have access to even Holy Fire from what I recall. He literally set that stone on fire with a standard torch fire. Again, whatever the heck the stonemasons used… Stormwind clearly got scammed.

Her flaw is being the only other major female character…and that is Sylvanas’ job.

Ahem king anduin has decided to take a long vacation with no return date.
I will be stepping in as highlord and first order no one is allowed to look in the closet under penalty of death.

Is it me or does genn seem to be more invested in anduin than the loyalty he owes to the night elves?

I just don’t trust the worgen would back Tyrande’s cause if it conflicted with the humans. Which is another reason not to trust the alliance

I guess some people go over their heads with the whole “the horde is guilty” thing but the point is: Sylvanas gave the order, but Horde soldiers invaded Darkshore, Horde soldiers set the three on fire, horde soldiers decided to stay in Darkshore after that. The guilt is not for Sylvanas alone.
I, and I guess a lot of other nelf players too, feel that we need some compensation before we can have peace - not necessarily paying in the same coin and commiting genocide on some horde race, but something needs to be given back. Either be land, or help regrowing Teldrasil or something else, it unseasonable to believe peace can be achieved while we have no compensation and not even one sign of regret from the horde leaders, not one sign that indicates that they believe the burning was wrong and they regret it.

Genn has been a bit back and forth honestly. Remember in this expansion he very politely told Anduin to piss off and the Gilneans have been assisting the NE’s in fending off Horde attacks when Anduin was clearly about going after the Zandalari. He def feels a major debt to the Night Elves, but I also think he wants peace. I wouldn’t want to be in his shoes.

Tyrande most certainly is losing her mind, especially after taking in the Night Warrior. We can see that even Shandris, one of her most loyal followers has begun to notice as well.

When Tyrande met Kael’thas after his people were culled to the brink of extinction, she warned him against the dangers of letting vengeance, and rage poison his heart, and that he could still yet lead them to a brighter future.

agreed
but

no, the actual purpose (not lore wise but for the game itself) was to separate factions into continents

eventually we’ll likely see something similiar with the goats and elves
or they’ll just cheese it and any ports out will take you the kalimdor

never. teldrassil is gone and the world trees are freaking dangerous to play with

teldrassil only survived because 2 aspects blessed it…something we no longer have

what another world tree without substantial outside aid would do is create another opening for the void.

most have shown repeatedly that they have disdain towards those actions are are restructuring the horde to prevent or atleast mitigate the chances of it happening again

but Tyrande isn’t after peace, she’s not after compensation
as it stands she is after straight up revenge and to learn why elune abandoned the elves

by her own statements she won’t stop until she has both.

that…would actually fit, the night warriors were all mad
they were single minded tools of destruction and wrath

by the end of her little escapade there will be no more tyrande

Isn’t that impossible because these places are in BC servers? That is why there is no flying there, isn’t it?

Yep, forgot about that

I understand that, even though is valuable course of action, still isn’t a compensation, or even a apology, for the night elves, is it? Tyrande may be burning in anger but a lot of the nelves aren’t, and instead are just miserable, hopeless and sad or trying to recover

I wish blizzard had the ability to follow these lines of writing without messing everything up and ending in the same old “crazy woman” trope, but I’m skeptical about them having this ability

To be honest, they didn’t even need her to go full night warrior. She was a fierce enough opponent as she was.

They really wrote themselves into a corner, hopefully worse case scenario, we have to knock her out of her night warrior phase. Best case scenario, it goes away when Sylvanas and Nathanos are dead.

Look Mr alliance

I agree that horde have gotten more spotlight in the terrible story and as a faction are being butchered while the alliance stands back and say they want equal treatment

So in the spirit of equality Tyrande is the focus of the next expansion and we all unite to kill her at the end

Then we’d both get to be the centerpieces of terrible stories that nobody wanted to be a part of

Yeah, Blizzard already solidified Tyrande as a powerful warrior in Warcraft 3 when she and her sentinels terrorized Grom and the orcs. The night warrior is a cool option for night elves but unnecessary for lore reasons.

Alleria’s the alliance-side NPC who willing accepted the power of the void…

Right. But if it wasnt for Horde, no one would have been crazy.

Maybe Horde should learn to stop genociding races.

It wasn’t plotted for the Horde. It was plotted for Sylvanas. As soon as Sylvanas announced her disdain for the Horde and all the living, the faction war plot immediately ended. Alliance and Horde were used for Sylvanas.

Varian’s warning to the Horde was explicit. “We will end you!”

Anduin’s version of that is skipping through Orgrimmar singing “Why can’t we be friends?”
