Blizz charged $25 for the mount or a year upfront sub with Diablo III, and now you are giving it away for free. There isn’t any point in buying mounts, or anything else for that matter, from the shop if you are going to eventually give it away.

They already recently brought it back to the shop.
Tendies are limited so if you want the other trading post stuff then you might want to consider it.

I have had the mount for a decade now? Probably.
I have zero issues with people getting an opportunity to earn the mount. Fear of missing out is one of the worst things about this game; life happens. Removing items because of exclusivity or whatever is not a good feeling.
I hope they continue to bring back items from past expansions moving forward.
Edit: That is what achievements are for, if people want that “flex” lol.

Fine by me, it was given with the annual pass over a decade ago. That’s how I got it, and don’t care if they put it on the trading post. And if you don’t see any point in buying mounts off of the shop, then don’t.
I’m all for them putting this old stuff on the trading post or making them Twitch drops.

Depends on how you look at it. I’d rather buy a house when I’m 25 than wait until i’m 80 to receive one for free.
You never know what or when or how something will come about later. Best to get what you want in the moment (unless you know for CERTAIN when something will be coming around again for a second coming)

depends if it’s a purchase or a reward for the month.
if it’s a purchase option, then people will have to decide whether it’s worth it to them or not.
personally, i’ve never been a fan of the mount.
i’ll take it if it’s given to me, but i didn’t get it first time round, or second time round, and had the choice both previous times.
it’s just a bit meh.

And this is the really big takeaway that everyone needs to let sink in, there is no more FOMO or exclusive items, the sooner we all accept it and stop giving a damn about getting things right here and right now, the better off we’ll all be.
As much as i am fundamentally against a lot of exclusive items being recycled and given away via the Trading Post or Twitch drops, i think ultimately it’s a good thing because i can stop caring about everything (because eventually it’ll come back around for free lol).

Never was a fan of the promotion/store mounts.
In-game/drops only for me.
I suppose, but I don’t recall them reusing anything for the monthly reward yet, and putting shop stuff up for tendies is a means of encouraging them be purchased in the shop instead.
I’m completely with on this. There are probably people playing the game that weren’t eve born when it came out. This is just something that needs to be done with a game that is as old as Wow. Plus, it doesn’t hurt the game in any way as I see it.

not true, you just had to promise to sub for a year and you then couldn’t cancel without contacting blizz
When I saw it in shop menu I couldn’t wait to buy it. I don’t care if they give it someone for free. I got mine when I wanted to have it.
That’s the beauty of money. You get stuff when you want it and need it. I wish health and wellness was like that

Glad to hear it’s coming, I was sort of interested in the mount - but by the time I started, they’d already pulled it from the shop I think.
Though whether I immediately get it next month or not, will depend entirely on what else is available on the post. Hoping there isn’t a ton I want again, like how it was this month - lets me save up tendies.
