Tyr and the future

Do you think Tyr will betray us in Disney style (“Ahaha! I was bad all along!”) with sprinkles of the typical Blizz villain (“Im the puppet master, i was behind all this”)??

I really hope no. Im tired of the backstabbers and the dumb 5-dimenions chess players who never wins. I just want Tyr to be an ally, and if the Titans did something bad (which they sure did, a lot), just help us out and dont try to reset the world, turn us into stone robots or brainwash us.

I see some reason in the Primalist words and even the Old Gods, life and civilizacion can be without the Titans touching everything, it doesnt need to be the Titans’s Way always, but i dont want to be betrayed or fight for the destiny of Azeroth agaisnt every cosmic force in the universe (life, death, void, light, chaos, order)

The signs were all there.

it reeks of Old God corruption…

I mean, writers are so terrible that it’s probably their best option. Trying to do anything else will result in another Zereth Mortis bs

Azeroth hasn’t been at risk of a forced reorigination in a while… and we’re in a pretty tall city. Don’t we have a signal to send or something?

I think they are going for ‘Tyr made a mistake’. You know something like trying to sweeten soda with menthos.

Don’t fall for it. The Incarnates and Old Gods will always be a bigger threat even as they use the destructive toys of Neltharion or the Titan Keepers.

N’zoth has attempted to use the Reorigination device to wipe us out.

Im renown 7 so i have no idea what the story even is this xpac. Outside lightning chicken releasing other evil chickens who dont like titans

Maybe Sargeras was right all along so we get him back with Sylvanas to be the true heros of the game oh and we rez Gul’dan because he was also a good guy all along… /sarcarsm

Tyr being the big bad is well underway.

And it gets better: Sylvanus is the one who will take him down.

Tyr is neutral pretty much don’t know anything about him really except he used the Aspects to take down Galakrond it wouldn’t really be a surprise I was a villian the whole time thing if it turns out he was hiding some shady stuff :dracthyr_shrug:

yeah probably

blizz hasn’t been very good at writing complex characters recently and they seem to have something against characters just being morally good.

Its really sad. Does every important and powerful character that seems to be our friend have to be a shady, evil master minds or be corrupted? Will Tyr’s first quote be “Bwahahaha, fools…!!”?

Maybe we’ll revive Tyr and he’ll help us kill Odyn for good this time.

He was pretty involved with the dragons but he is also responsible for the first humans arriving in the Eastern Kingdoms. He also fought off some Old God generals singlehandedly, and died taking one down.

The Jailer arc was dumb for a myriad of reasons because the reasoning came out of nowhere and he provided no context or explanation for why he was doing he was doing. Just a vague warning.

The Lightforged trying to subjugate others to become Lightforged for the ‘sake of defeating the Void’ is, in a way, a kind of betrayal but has an explainable reason why they chose to do what they did.

Is Tyr reason going to be Jailer-esque or Lightforged-esque if they go that route? That makes all the difference.

Tyr won’t be a disney-esque villain. Instead he’ll be like… “Well, yeah, of course we need to purge all life on azeroth. I thought you guys were cool with that. Is this going to affect our friendship?”
