My experience has been the opposite, way too many people out and about. Makes tagging mobs difficult.

I agree, always seems to be a lot of people around wherever I go.
Plenty, if not to many, on my server... /shruggg
Service jobs requiring the gradually aging player base to be at work instead of online is probably one reason
the classic demo is live right now.
Since the classic demo is a limited thing, people are spending time doing that then retail WoW, since retail WoW is a thing they can do anytime.

Always somebody who wants us to believe that the crz-generated mix of characters they see when they are playing tells us something about their server population and retention[b][/b].
Dont know, just got out of the game a few minutes ago, and i am on Area52, and it really is depressingly dead. I mean i have met some new friends this expansion, and they are the types that are xfering realms all the time to get all of their toons to each others servers to play on, and i mean these are not wealthy people. They are big fans of the game and even they have been on maybe 1 hour a day, and now as of late they to have been staying away for a day or two They do not work, and its just weird.
Asked them why they havent been around leveling all these toons they have been xfering around so they are all on the same server now, and they said they just do not feel like logging on. I mean i feel the same way, i log on around 9-10am and play awhile. Then it get about 5pm, and im just so numb. I just log off saying to myself ill be on later, around 10pm EST, but that time comes and it feels more like a chore than anything and i do not bother to log on.
I am not a person who has really ever felt that way about this game. I did a bit in the beginning of Legion, but i got over it and had a great time the entire expansion, played so many of my toons. Played both factions on 3 realms(two are connected). Now, i am playing one main horde hunter, and trying to level up my horde warlock. I xfered my main ally from Whisperwind, to Area52 a couple months ago, and have not gotten past 110 1/2.
Its just so different. I really miss leveling alts, new alts from level1. The changes they made in 7.3.5, i just can not get past level 20, or if its an ally race, i cant get past 35. This toon is boosted. Its just so different. With Azerite taking the place of so many things(tier, leggos, and our Artifact) its just so lacking.
I mean i muct not be the only one feeling like this, because theres literally no one out of the 8 friends signed into the app atm in game, and they have not been all day yet again.
It stinks tbh, i wake the computer up all the time hoping someone will be on to maybe trigger that itch to play.

Hey man I know this isn’t exactly a response, but I am on A52 as well, if you’re looking for some active friends my guild is great, but even if you don’t want to join I’m more than happy to play with you! Our server isn’t all that dead, it’s actually pretty active for the most part. Like I said if you are looking for more friends to play with just hmu!
