Type in amount for bank and trade rather than click

Hi,
Is there a addon for guild bank etc.
if i want to sort say herbs into 20 stacks i have to click the arrow 20 times and is very time consuming.
I want to be able to just shift click and input my own number

You can do this in the default UI. Shift-click the item to bring up the split window and then just type in the desired number. If it’s not working for you, there might be an addon interfering.

When buying from vendors, it can feel a bit weird as the number you type will be number of stacks. So, if an item is sold in stacks of 5 from a vendor, typing 20 will buy 20 stacks of 5 = 100. This can cause typing in to “fail” if you aren’t accounting for it, as typing in a number higher than the maximum stack size will cause the number not to change. So, if the example item had a maximum stack of 50, it would appear to not be working.

Great thanks, shift click isnt working, ill try turning off some addons.

I’m pretty certain that unless it’s been added recently the default stack splitter doesn’t allow entering a value, just button clicking. It annoyed me endlessly so I wrote my own “fix” to do this.

More than happy to be wrong but even if it’s in retail, I don’t think the Classics do this.

Is there a fix for retail?

Code removed: Default code does this.

Thats awesome tyvm

It will download a .zip file just like getting one download manually from Curse or WowInterface. Install the same way.

got it tyvm

I literally tried it in game before I posted to verify, and was able to type in a number to split a stack. So, if it’s not working, it sounds like a UI bug, probably caused by some sort of addon conflict.

Or you already have an addon doing the same as the code I posted

I’ve had that happen before (telling someone back in vanilla to just check the tooltip to see the vendor price of an item…oops)

+1
I just tested it on Retail with all addons disabled, and while it doesn’t appear to be a box you can type in, you can definitely type in the number.

There you go, I am wrong! Some more code I can retire.
