yup after 72 hours only discovered 3 recipes really good system
Same here, and the worst part is they are the recipes no one wants. This is ridiculous, and a big part of why I stop playing DF.
I guess I didnât find it as hard as you did. Granted I got good profession equipment and specced for increased chance of discovery.
Maybe itâs different if you arenât using profession equipment or donât know what you are doing.
That\s interesting. You were super lucky enough to discover a recipe to get you all the way to 100 but unlucky that you canât seem to learn any more recipes.
âhey everybody I got lucky so Iâm going to rub it in your face and call you badâ
You still donât understand the difference of skilling up and learning new recipes? I have learned a total of 7 (I got luck day 1) of the possible 20 in the last 96 hours. you can level it up without learning all the patterns. I also have maxed equipment.
Itâs a slot machine, youâre only mitigation is to delay your ability to meaningfully use anything you happen to win.
Yep, the spec options to alleviate the RNG are nothing more than a trap that would put you permanently behind on your ability to actually craft things.
This is honestly the dumbest design ever. SO AGGREVATING.
I just used rank 3 herbs and concentrate on the meticulous and it was MAXED out and it still blew up.
100% support getting rid of this pathetic mechanic⌠It was trash in DF, and worse now⌠I have failed ~10 in a row, and 2 meticulous in a row⌠F Alchemy, and F whoever designed this and kept it inâŚ
Since youâd like constructive, remove this garbage mechanic, or bad luck protection it at a MINIMUMâŚ
TriggeredâŚ
On beta, I recall using the items to max both skill and spec points, with the whole unlimited setup you can do on beta, and youâd still blew up all the time and learned little.
Honestly, as much as the one dude wants to be like âread the tooltipsâ, the only things that I see affect discovery chance is the alchemy bag (3%), the first point of each of the herb lore nodes on alch mastery, and the 20 point node for Mycobloom.
Nothing else states it factors in.
Also, another 24hr cooldown wasted here today, thanks devs. Love this system as much as I love stepping on legos.
My guild mate maxed out alchemy by simply rushing to the liquid courage and then just spent 1000s of herbs using regular experimentation until they learned every recipe ingame.
Also, the patron system is awful.
I donât have enough skill to make R2 potions or R3 flasks even with max herbs + rank 2 vials so I have to use alchemical concentrate and you only get 10 an hour.
To finish all of the patron requests itâs going to take 4-5 days to save up enough concentrate which I canât use for anything else.
Use better materials.
used all rank three materials for the meticulous experimentation on sunday, monday, and tuesday; all three of those 24 hour cooldowns while also using concentration blew up.
Why would use waste Tier 3 materials on Experimentation and waste concentration?
My favorite part of this is that Engineers have the exact same mechanic but we have been beaten down so many times and complained about it for so long, we have just accepted it.
The minute that it effects alchamy, its getting patched.
Engineers are the red headed step child of prof.
Ite because Raiders want to craft their own potions and flasks, They scream bloody murder when they canât have it right now.
Just trying everything to actually have an experimentation go through so I can continue to level the profession. I used ever means possible each time to increase the chance of success and it has failed every single time.
