from its original initial to its 10% to 5% and now a capstone…its so bad.
I was looking at some raid logs for tww beta and over 5 mins, it generated 3 soul conduit shards.
This needs a revisit on weather it belongs as a capstone or should even be bothered to be part of the tree.
Theres an affliction bug not generating any SS in combat right now
The hilarious messed up part is soul conduit used to be 15% back in shadow lands, I think in legion/bfa it was 10% and some people still ignored it. It wasn’t even broken back then.
No idea why the devs came up with useless 5%.
You can actually go through the each of the dps class trees and you would realized just how asinine the damn warlock class capstone talents are. Soul Burn it the only that actually matters.
That one that actually makes healthstone CD in combat is a damn qol that should be baseline to the class but got it as a talent.
Not even sure what banish is still in the tree.
Plenty of dps classes in both dragon flight / TWW between DK/paladins/monks/rogues etc. got things back baseline that didn’t even needed to be. Yet for some reason the warlock class has thing like banish in the tree lol.
Life drain doesn’t even do anything now for either of the specs. Which should be functional for all and a bit better on afflic but the now is just dead an all.
We used more ways to get back healthy through life drain/coil/and we had a CD that used to had an overtime heal but nah.
I used Banish a lot in DF, on Incorporeal affix in keystones.
I agree with the rest of your points, and yes, Soul Conduit sux.
