TWW skyriding races

Has anyone bothered doing them?
Are there any meaningful rewards from getting gold on all or doing them?
Any appearances or just titles?

I’ve done the basic ones for world quests. I enjoy them. Never kept track of rewards or achievements.

they are severely gutted of reward but also double the length to complete. compared to DF races when current

they are only worth doing for either the rep or completion toward the azj kahet weekly or the worldsoul weekly.

Gold sucks and I don’t recall getting any titles for all gold races.

I enjoyed them a lot in DF and got gold on all, but my time is shorter now and I’ve been saving them for a rainy day.
Just was curious if there was a prize at the end to look forward to.
No delver’s d upgrades or nothing?

Do they still have reverse and all that too?

They are actually incredibly good resonant crystal income for your first-time medals on each character, if you’re low on those for mounts/pets/mogs from renown.

Everything except for advanced.

Cool
Thank you all for the responses!

Maybe the rewards and titles are on the horizon when/if they release advanced races

Unfortunately they don’t give the gold that they did in DF and as others have said they are longer. I do them every once in a while. But they were never something i wanted to do just for fun. It was the gold I was doing them for in DF.

I didn’t hate them during DF but didn’t love them either, so I have yet to do a single one this expansion. I figured they didn’t give you much or do anything special this time around so haven’t bothered. Maybe someday…but I’m not great at them anyway, as much as I love skyriding.

I did one or two, one of them was in the Ringing Deeps and I found it to be rather annoying as the circles are placed rather close to rock formations and hot dang is the game picky about collision detection and some of the turns are absolutely ridiculous.

Who knew that trying to race inside of a cave was nearly impossible without hitting stuff?

That, along with there being jack-all for rewards… pretty much the only reason you’d do it is to unlock a special assignment or do the AK weekly or Worldsoul Weekly as mentioned above, when you need a world quest but there’s none left on the map except for the flying/pet battle ones.

I’d rather do flying than pet battles. Pet battles are just annoying, trying to remember what 3 pets to use against which trainers, etc. And in the end you usually end up using the same few tactics over and over again and if you don’t use exactly those tactics, you’ll get your butt kicked because it’s just so crazy unbalanced, to where you MUST use certain combinations or you’ll never win.

You can check the wowdragonracing subreddit for more detailed info, but short version is that there’s nothing new about dragon racing this expansion (other than the new races). If you liked them before, they’re still fun now, but they’re not the cash machine they were in Dragonflight.

I like em for the easy WQ completions to open up special assignments and for the Azj-kahet weekly quest.

But that’s about it. Rewards aren’t great, and the TWW races are noticeably harder than their DF counterparts.

I swear, some of these races have more twists and turns than a Spanish soap tv show.

In DF I did them for gold and the chance at drake manuscripts. Well they give less gold than a dungeon boss. And manuscripts for the dirigible are all on the delve vendor. So…unless I’m trying to fill the bar in azj-kahet I don’t bother

You get rep if its a WQ and some gold

eh, its not worth it unless you want 100 gold for lazily coasting through the air on a basic track or need a quick WQ clear for your weekly
