Have they done enough to make the game more accessible in terms of making classes and or specs easier to get into versus live?
everyone has equal access already.
I don’t think they are particularly difficult to get into now. But they do seem to be making great strides in making some specs feel more cohesive, as with survival hunters. Or with making them fit their fantasy better, as with windwalker. That little air dash is just delightful!
Ret Paladins got a little easier which is kind of remarkable considering they were already kind of the beginner melee.
Umholy have fewer globals for setup and seem to be losing one button. Frost is easier to pace and over caps less.
Feral gets a lot slower, but they’ve still not added any way to handle bleed snapshots without weakauras which is the entire focus of the spec. With buffs to warlock stones and DK raise dead, Feral has secured the “worst battle res in the game” position.
Outlaw is still a piano and all the rogue hero talents are a dumpster fire of uninspired themes.
Fire mage has some easy mode options but they’re probably not going to be your best damage picks. Frost core rotation is basically unchanged, some small buffs.
Affliction gets a little easier, Demo gets a little harder, Destro is about the same, but the talent trees are moderately less annoying.
BM got slightly more complex but hunters in general for a lot more survivable.
Shaman aren’t in the expansion at all apparently.
Monks are mushroom. I never read priest patch notes.
Enhance will be the most complex spec in the game as all the competition is simplified and ele stays the easiest, most braindead spec in the game.
