It’s no hero spec reveals, but it’s something that’s for sure.
Great for Resto, positive the helm ponytail won’t be standing up. It’s a 6/7 out of 10.
Edit: Further explanation on my critique, love the Water Theme (Finally), but the actual armour itself I feel could be way better.
- Helmet, honestly looks very generic besides the addition of the Water Ponytail which I don’t mind.
- Shoulders, I don’t mind either love the watery globes.
- Chest and below just seems to follow that same generic “Mail” look.
A great example would be if you removed the Water effects from this tier you would have zero clue it was a Shamans Tier, it doesn’t say Shaman to me.

Not only do I feel like the ugly step child, I look like the ugly child!

I don’t love it.
Why do Shamans get stock with such boxy helms all the time?
I’m the Juggernaut!

It’s not… terrible? I like the watery themes, but that’s basically its only redeeming feature. This doesn’t scream tier gear to me. Looks like a mog of mostly dungeon mail gear with some Shaman shoulders and water effects.
I want whatever the Evokers are eating. The stony dragonscale-esque look and flaming claw shoulders. That looks like Evoker set without even seeing the name attached to it.

oh get over yourself, warriors arte the ugly step child.
To me, it looks very night faey, because some of the colors we see here and patters sort of resemble the night fae gear you’d get from the renown thingy

I think that’s the issue, the Night Fae set was made for all Mail, just like you described it’s very generic, doesn’t scream Shaman, to you it didn’t either rather more Night Fae although to me it’s just a typical Mail Armour with watery effects.
Ooh, that’s what it reminded me of! I knew it looked similar to something I just couldn’t pinpoint what
my expectations for shaman were higher, they really need to incorporate more elements into the set, maybe make the dress rock and maybe the ponytail sort of split like fire and water together or do something with the shoulders

I actually really REALLY love this set, minus the helm. It’s different from a lot of the ones we have in our roster and highlights the element of water, which we don’t see in many of our current tiers.
I think (hope) the rigging for the helm isn’t showing properly, I’m hoping the watery ‘spike’ will actually be more of a ponytail in the live iteration. (I’ll probably hide the helm anyway, most of our helms are pretty ugly even on my favorite tier sets, so this is no different.)

Looks like it’ll pair with Sharas’Dal, Scepter of Tides really well. Ever since Cata after seeing the priest set, I was wondering when we would have a water based set.

Looks like a feather duster cosplay imo. Like the idea but the final product missed the mark. Also, the water theme works for resto but not for enhance or ele as we dont really cast anything water based outside of emergency heals.
I would like to see something where like one shoulder is fire, one is nature and the head be water so all elements are in harmony.
I may be the odd one out too, but mail dresses are not my thing. I really liked the look of the legs we have currently.

Seems extremely rushed, which probably lends itself to why people thinks it looks generic.
I’m down with the set leaning into Resto, since they usually get the short end of the stick with tier sets being designed around Enh/Ele much more often, but this isn’t doing it for me. The water effects on the helm and shoulders are the only things that say “shaman” about this, and apart from the helm, shoulders, and those hip guards (which also look like they belong to a different set from the rest, I think due to color choices?), the set looks more like cloth.

Disgusting. It looks like a cross between a mage tier set and the season 1 hunter tier set from legion.
I won’t be touching it.
It may look okay on a Draenei? Other than that I think it looks hideous.

The watery theme is fun, but the entire set feels very basic to me. Almost like it’s from an BC era of wow.
Maybe if the helmet had a much longer ponytail made of water? Or maybe if the shoulder visual effect was like a shoulder drape made from water.
I don’t mind the water theme but it looks like MOP leveling gear ffs
It looks like there’s a water balloon being filled on our heads…how do we go from s3/4 dragon flight masterpiece to that??
anything beats the founding father 1800s judge hair thing we got in sepulcher.

Pros:
-going for a water theme is pretty neat
-the water effects on the shoulders looks great
Cons:
-it looks like the same tube dress they have been using for 20 years
-that orc has a water fountain on her head
