Was talking with a few of my friends that play MW and I’m struggling to understand what happened to our tier set bonuses during the dev cycle?
I picked up MW coming from Rdruid at end of DF. Sheilun’s was outstanding… now it is so meager and piddly. At least I enjoy the feeling of Fistweaving as a raid healer (compared to Rdruid)… but now I get a 2 set that I only get to benefit from one of its spells and the 4 set literally won’t happen while Fistweaving???
I’ve been reading people’s posts about fistweaving… many are passionate about it. Why is it getting dismantled this hard? I read that people were upset because “healers had to dps in keys” and I haven’t found that to be the case (all of DF M+ mounts obtained). However, I found that I MOST enjoyed healing when I felt rewarded with doing dps because I healed well and planned well for the pulls. Catweaving bleeds in while frantically maintaining rejuvs and adaptive swarm was fun. Fistweaving while maintaining RenMists is fun.
Why don’t I get a 4set bonus that does ANYTHING for me?
What sins did Fistweavers commit to deserve this?
Alternative 4set ideas that would’ve been helpful for both playstyles:
Env mist buff of any kind… i mean it could proc a chi wave and that’d be something…
Sheilun’s gift being a gift again?
A proc that increases mastery (I’d settle for the other stats)
For perspective:
I don’t care if other healers are better. I don’t care if I am not optimally built. I found a playstyle and a class that I enjoy and I want to play it. I don’t understand why I need to not have access to a core part of the gearing-up process. Everyone else gets to enjoy the hype (even if marginally) for assembling their tier set and I get to watch them from the sidelines.
I get it… reroll… go be an Hpal… go start over and lose way too much progress because people complained about the thing that I enjoy.
