TWW quality has

Yeah man, go ask people about shadowlands and WoD and see how your theory works out

There’s not much to do in retail its true lol i kinda just started playing gw2/ff14 because of it

Nothing has changed outside of the Siren Isle showing up. You can just say you’re bored because you rush through content. That’s not a problem of the game, that’s on you.

That’s literally what happens with every new expansion. For a few months, the new xpac is the best thing ever and the previous xpac is the worst. By the end of the sixth month or so, people start whining about wanting the previous xpac back because the current one is so bad. You can set your watch by the stupidity. 20 years of it.

I don’t have to ask nobody about expansions that I played day one on.

Okay? You responded to my post saying pretty much nothing and wasting time, double down on it, then nuke the convo? You’re really boring and uninteresting to talk to just so you’re aware

Tbh, it would probably still be an improvement.
Better to have developers who pretty much make only one type of game than developers who seem to be better to suited to working on mobile games.

I wish I wasn’t so burned out. It’s going on a couple months now and I just have not had any interest in playing it’s definitely not any problem with the expansion. I absolutely love the war Within. But I just played way too much at the end of dragon flight and I am in Burnout mode

I reserve judgement until I see how player housing turns out. Once I found out that was being worked on, I understood why we were getting old unused assets as content.

Not for me man. I absolutely love dragon flight and love the war within even more.
Can’t wait for war within to be old content so I can level some alts in it from scratch

I think a lot of that problem is directly related to the Gear grinding crap. I think a lot of us don’t want to admit that we can’t stand the never ending Race For Better gear. For me it almost ruins the content anymore. We get so obsessed with getting another upgrade that we’re not even able to enjoy playing the content itself

i sure wouldnt want to take risks after every main feature they tried to experiment with (artifact weapons, azerite armor, covenants) were panned to hell and back

They had taken these risks already with Aritfact Weapons and the Heart of Azeroth. They were clunky as hell at the start, but by the end they were fun system, and instead of evolving those systems they’d scrap it and start again.

I remember watching a video of an interview with the WoW devs around the time of WOTLK. They were talking about how every single detail from rested XP, to death penalties to even how the mouse cursor moved and looked was optimized so for the user to have a fun experience.

And he is pretty bad at his job…

Zzz

It makes sense to use unused assets, but I saw the lead World designer say that the assets don’t get tested, ((As in the case of Siren Isle)) & that bothers the heck out of me, it should be tested more than…

“Yeah looks good,” & the employee gives the boss a thumbs up.

Makes perfect sense to me. Instead of, “If we do player housing you’ll lose a raid tier or more,” we got, “These assets have been sitting around that we didn’t use, let’s quickly implement them for patches while we work on player housing.”

Now… if this continues well past Midnight… then I’ll have some words.

Larian Studios has ~470 employees.

Activision Blizzard has ~17,000 employees.

If you’re worried about the quality of the game going down, I don’t know why you think suggesting this would be a good idea.

As a long time wow player the talent overhaul in DF was the best part hands down in that expansion & id say hero talents in TWW are overall a pretty solid success to the game & really adds diversity in your class and spec, the tier sets are looking better I’d say those are the pros.

Across      how many games?

I only care about this one being fixed, and Larian proved themselves very well at the Game Developers conference ((which is this month btw)) for squashing bugs and coming out with a solid product.

I don’t think they have separate QA teams for each game, maybe just a Blizzard specific one.

Also that’s a singleplayer RPG, not a massively multiplayer online game. It’s like a whole other ballpark full of bugs to deal with.
