TWW paladin tier wings?

As an enthusiastic Paladin player in World of Warcraft, I am eagerly anticipating the release of the new tier set, particularly the wing appearance. The visual representation of wings is iconic for Paladins, symbolizing their connection to the Light and their role as protectors and champions. However, recent previews of the upcoming tier set wings have sparked discussion within the community due to concerns over their aesthetic and thematic suitability.

Currently, there are already superior wing appearances available in the game, notably those seen on specific mounts and NPCs. These wings are grand, majestic, and exude a divine aura that befits the Paladin class. They serve as aspirational visual elements that many players aspire to integrate into their characters’ appearance through transmogrification.

Moreover, within the Shadowlands expansion, we encounter the Kyrian, a race of angelic beings who prominently feature wings as a central aspect of their identity. The Kyrian’s wings are breathtaking in design and scale, embodying the celestial and righteous essence that resonates deeply with the Paladin archetype. Drawing inspiration from the Kyrian wings would not only enhance the thematic consistency but also align more closely with the lore and narrative of the current expansion.

Given these points, it is evident that there exists a precedent for exquisite wing designs in World of Warcraft that far surpass the current previewed tier set wings. Embracing the aesthetic excellence demonstrated by existing in-game wings and the Kyrian race’s celestial motifs would elevate the Paladin tier set to a new level of visual grandeur and thematic coherence.

Furthermore, enhancing the wing appearance for Paladins would not only satisfy player expectations but also strengthen immersion and player identification with their characters. Paladins are revered figures within Azeroth and beyond, embodying the pinnacle of virtue and heroism. Their appearance should reflect this stature through iconic and awe-inspiring visual elements like majestic wings.

In conclusion, I urge Blizzard Entertainment to reconsider and refine the wing appearance for the upcoming Paladin tier set. By drawing upon the exceptional wing designs already present in the game and aligning with the celestial motifs of the Kyrian, the new tier set wings can truly embody the essence of what it means to be a Paladin in World of Warcraft. This change would resonate positively with the community, enhance player satisfaction, and reaffirm Blizzard’s commitment to delivering visually captivating and thematically rich content.

Couldn’t agree more, the tier set wings are comical embarrassing and insulting

They would look better if they didn’t move like that. Should have been an animation like the Tomb of Sargeras warlock tier set, when they jump, demon wings come out. Would have been nice to have something similar with angelic wings.

This. Make them much bigger and only come out when you jump and the set is instantly saved.

Wait, that’s actual footage and not a parody?

Omg, that’s wrong.

I thought they would be rigid and look a bit bigger.

That’s a transmog that will never get used

Unfortunately that’s not a parody, that’s actually what the look like and how they move.

See Tyrael’s wings in the Tyrael vs Imperius fight in D3. That is what we need. This set is an abomination. I’d wager it will be one of the least transmogged appearances of all time. Bare minimum we need like a 400% scaling increase lol.

I don’t understand the shoulders. It’s plate so the wings should be solid…if they aren’t then why did we duct tape some poor birds wings to our shoulders?

I feel them flopping around just looks silly…
