Just had an update. Not sure what it was, but it updated.

They should make Rag put living bomb on people and Hakkarā€™s blood plague last 1 minute so it actually has time to spread. That would jog more fond memories.

Your kidding arnt you. Those were classic quests. Fun and fullfilling. They are also great in the event. You get so much more XP and currency doing them then just killing mini bosses

From one extreme to the other. Literally saw Arthas one-shot before people could even get to him from the same zoneā€¦

Which was why they were buffed. To allow people time to get to them and participate. A step in the right direction . Now copy that over to normal mobs in the game . Nothing of the same level as you should be one shotable. At least you should have to do your opening rotation to kill them .

Safe to assume fixing the scaling so its not a raid boss with a billion hp.

It said in the most recent patch the increased the scaling even more, so the more people at the bosses the more health they gain. Also more and more people are going afk at the bosses, sitting on their mounts, so the boss health goes up and players actually doing stuff are doing the same amount of damage.

So 10% of the people buff the boss and get the rewards for free while they go afk because you dont really need to contribute to get the rewards.

Iā€™d like to see a decent requirement of involvement to get the rewards, actually punishing afk people, or just get rid of scaling. Til one of those things happen Iā€™m done doing the event, not spending 30 minutes every hour getting rewards for someone doing nothing.

I wish they would have nerved the ridiculous number of fears. its like the only mechanic in the event.

actually, people afkā€™ing arenā€™t the problem. no tag, no hp increase.

Just did a Lich King. Looks like the fix is out. So much nicer to fight a 120M Health Lich King as compared to a 900M Health Lich King.

The fix went live 15 minutes ago, at 4:15 p.m. PDT.

  • Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe.
    • Developersā€™ notes: This includes both ā€˜minibossesā€™ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros).

They didnā€™t stealth nerf anything. They told you days ago. It didnā€™t happen last night. The change happened Friday night.

might want to increase the invulnerable timer to 1min instead of 30seconds

Oh this explains why and what happened to LK despawning during the fight and leaving everyone holding NOTHING but a big giant waste of time ā€“ nice timing.

Its not like you had a maintenance or anything where you could have done this and it was last minuteā€¦oh waitā€¦

This happened just about 15 mins ago.

Iā€™m not asking for my sake, im just parked at the boss while the peons go and do the echoes. They just arent getting back in time with the boss only having 15mil hpā€¦

I have not looked at the number, but it defiantly seems like the mini bossā€™s health goes up (big guys too?) proportionally to the number of players in the immediate area. There have been times with 3-4 of us are wearing down the health then people swoop in and it is like the breaks are put on the health bar. If Iā€™m right then the people that just stand around or sit on their mounts only make it worse for everybody (and slowing it for themselves too).
