TWW Engineer: Hundreds of worthless Hastily Scrawled Notes

I’ll have thousands soon. Why have this item continuing to be a byproduct of “Scour Though Scrap” if these items are now totally useless to me?

Seems like one leviathan of an oversite by the Blizz team. Please make these items available to be “Pilfered” via “Pilfer Through Parts” or make them useful via some other mechanic.

There is two versions of these notes, the war bound ones and the per engy ones. If you are still getting the per engys, you still got stuff to learn from em at least. :grinning:

I’m 100/100 Khaz Algar Engineering, and 129/480 Knowledge.

My daily “Invent” feature yields me notes. The notes yield me Comprehensibly Organized Ideas. When I get to the end product, the Ideas, and click on the Ideas to continue the process, I get the “there’s nothing left to discover”. So basically, this entire chain of crafting mechanics are utterly useless to me an all other Engineers once a certain threshold is met.

What I don’t get is the fact that I have 33/114 Perks unlocked, and 129/480 Knowledge. Why don’t these notes count towards these two mechanics? Further down the chain of events, once I learn everything, I’ll start accumulating literally thousands upon thousand of useless notes via the Invent and Scrap features. Notes that do absolutely NOTHING for all Engineers that have attained a certain level.

While it’s good to know that I still have a few things to learn via the mechanic, eventually I will not and I’ll still be accumulating thousands of notes that do nothing for me.

The thousands of notes we are accumulating should have some value to Engineers that are at the “End Game” stage of Engineering. I’d think the “scour through scrap” feature would be ideal. Basically “scour through notes” with a chance of a useful end game crafting product like producing Optional Reagents that are added to recipes.

TBH the entirety of TWW Engineering is worthless. This exp is another low point for ENG once again, which is a shame because in DF ENG was actually pretty damn good, but blizzard apparently did not like that we could get a combat rez.
