TWW dungeons

I can’t help but feel these are not finished. The new dungeons are extremely underwhelming. Will the mythic versions add a boss to each or something?

M+ is my main endgame and I don’t feel these new dungeons are interesting enough to keep me around. Maybe I’m alone here. Anyone else feel this way?

I like the delves… besides the spore one. Did all the effort go into those? I mean they aren’t the best either but I’m waiting to fully judge them when I get to higher tiers.

They’ll add mechanics, which is the whole thing that makes dungeons fun and challenging

I’m loving these short- less adds, 3-4 boss dungeons. They feel so smooth.

So much better than dragonflight dungeon design.

Not understanding why they felt the need to make them shorter when they introduced delves this expansion.

Not everyone is into zoomer gameplay.

They shortened the timer on M+ iirc.

(Ill see if I can find the post it was in)

They haven’t made a good dungeon since Legion/BFA

Perhaps this is only me but I quite prefer 3-4 boss dungeons not 5 boss slogs like Legacy of the

The delves are going to be the longer form gameplay

Strange claim considering that Legion dungeons are absolute trashcan design.

Kara was amazing

It’s all about difficulty. The whole thing is just too easy. Once you hit 80 the difficulty feels more appropriate but in normal dungeons you’re running with a bunch of leveling toons.

Questing while leveling has the same problem. It’s all easily forgettable because you just mow through it all so fast.

The lack in difficulty makes it all underwhelming. Once heroics hit, the dungeons will feel much better.

Lots of people feel that way. Nobody appreciates big epic dungeons any more. They used to pretty much be raids for small groups. Now they’re just bite size forgettable nuggets that people do 5 an hour. It’s sad.

Blizz could do what they did in TBC, and just hand out raid level gear rewards for the first zone sort as a catch up for people leveling new toons or people that didn’t get high level gear from the previous expansion.

Then they could tune the game for people in all this OP gear.

The extreme ilevel inflation is the problem because we just have too many modes of difficulties.

I think Blizzard is barking up the wrong tree tryinig to cater their MMO to people with short attention spans, or the gamer dad that has 9 kids 4 jobs and can only play the game 1 hour per month, but still wants to be decked out in raid level gear.

The normal dungeons are nerfed into the ground. Priory for instance has a stacking debuff if you keep pulling trash and don’t let it wear off, but not on normal or even heroic I think.

Mythic 0 to M+ is where you’ll see whether or not these are challenging.

Legion had about 4 dungeons everyone did (upper/lower kara, court and maw) and the rest everyone avoided like the plague because of how badly the mechanics interacted with affixes and scaled in any other dungeon.

BFA was much better design wise (IMO Mechagon is by far the best mega dungeon), but ironically the best designed dungeons of all the expansions since M+ became a thing was Shadowlands. Dragonflight was a bit of a decline due to Blizzard overcomplicating trash but it was still significantly better in design than Legion was.

I mean all we have access to right now is normal mode. We don’t get to see the mechanics. Not to mention scaling is really wierd right now with level 70s. They just demolish dungeons.

I’m not talking about mechanics, lol. Typical meta chaser player mentality on display here. Catering the game around players like you is another huge problem WoW has.

Oh the TWW dungeons were absolutely NOT being complained about because they were too easy on beta testing.

Yeah, imagine actually interacting with the dungeons.

I guess the only way people can interact with MMO dungeons is with gimmicky affixes and bloated boss and trash mechanics?

Meta chaser brain on full display here.

Not everyone likes being stuck in a 5-6 boss dungeon with a mob density like downtown Tokyo.
