I created a level 60 toon, boosted to 70, set up spell icons in action bars, every time I logout and back in the spell icons are missing from the action bars, ideas?

Happened to me three times yesterday when I was adjusting the bars and such on several existing toons. Frustrating.

bad time to boost, maybe.
they’re juggling a million
hand-grenades…
and they’re not very good at juggling…
maybe give it 24…might clear up.

We have a couple of known issues with Action Bars that we’re working to quickly fix.
- For some players, upon login, action bars 2-8 are unintentionally disabled on all characters. Players in this state will have to manually re-enable any of your extra action bars through Options > Gameplay > Action Bars. Pre-existing keybinds and spells should display with the re-enabled action bars.
- New characters’ (level 10 and below) spells on the Action Bars may not save on logout. The same issue may cause some existing characters to have all spells wiped from their Action Bar on logout if they do not create a new loadout.
We intend to fix these issues as soon as possible.
Saving the build as a new load out keeps my spells upon loggin in and out

I initially had issue 1 above, I re-enabled the action bars and everything was fine.
Then I created a level 60 boosted toon, then boosted to 70.
Everything is fine with my legacy toons, it’s the new boosted toons created after this expansion that have the issue.
I’m just curious if this issue has been resolved yet. I’m holding off logging back in on my boosted character, so as not to have to set up my action bars for a 4th time. Can we please get an official update on the fix? Thank you.

not only boosted characters. its happening on my 70 lock even after i save a new profile. every time i log in i have to put all my spells back on my bars

It has not been fixed, they addressed issues with the action bars, not the action icons disappearing from the action bars.
Hello guys!, i have the same problem like 3 minutes ago… i used the boost for lvl 70 and my action bars disappear
I didn’t boost and mine disappear every time I log. At this point, I’m just going to wait until the bugs are fixed before playing again.

I’m only having issues with boosted toons myself. I did find, however, that changing specs (i.e. prot/holy/ret) will fix the issue, albeit temporarily. I also found that the issue persists only on whatever specialization I selected for the boost. So on my pally my holy spec is jacked, but other two work just fine.

Yep, it actually worked. I went into “Talents and Spellbook” and on the bottom left corner there is a drop down box. I clicked on that and selected “New Loadout”. Once I named it and put all of my stuff onto my actionbars, I logged out and back in and my spells were still there.
