TWW Beta is a huge turn off compared to the past ones

Which is funny, considering is the most easiest to access… all you need is to buy the expensive pack.
I remember the past betas had more option and freedom from testing, it was easy to customize your character for preferable content you wanted to test or experience.
So you could have a boosted character right off the bat, of play a exclusive pvp server to duel people.
the beta exclusive npcs would teleport and give you stuff easily.

TWW beta, everytime i logged in I had to remake action bar and button press customization every god damn time.
The npc would have given free level customization in the first 2 days, then he stopped doing that.
Oh you wanted to test the hero talents for yourself? well, go level up all the way then yourself.

the fifth time i logged on, only to have to enable the 5 action bars, customize the buttons all over again… was my limit!
Screw it, I will wait the actual live game now.

so what did you test in those 5 times?

I tested being kicked off the server every 3 minutes in the zones you get teleported, killed some mobs using my mouse, got server lagged… then got disconnected again, then i rage quitted.
a cycle that repeated itself until i got sick of it.

I’m on beta but I’ve been testing mostly something related to talents / skills to help with feedback, I’ve avoided the campaign to enjoy it better when it goes live.

Hmm I stopped playing beta ui think it’s been about two weeks ago now. Simply because the don’t want to see anymore or I’ll have no reason or drive to play it on release. But beta was solid for me all but the first couple days beta came out but since then I could play as much as I want it never booted me or crashed.

So I get the people slamming it’s reliability unless maybe there’s bugs that crash the game in later zones I didn’t play.

I stopped playing about a week ago because bugs I’ve reported from the beginning are still in the game :woman_facepalming:

It took you that long to realize playing a beta version wouldn’t be a smooth and clean experience?

my bfa beta experience was pretty fine if you ask me. Shadowlands i did not received it.

So a beta that didn’t let anyone in just because they pre-purchased a specific version of the next expansion? Hmm… Interesting…

There’s bugs I reported still in original Cataclysm.

The purpose of beta is to test the system before it goes live. Did you feel you had an idea where the bugs were but had a hard time testing that software?

I have tested every single xpac in beta since MoP and I can tell you they all had bugs in them. The whole idea is to test them and report bugs and game stopping issues as well as anything Blizzard has tossed into the game as an idea to be tested before going live. Don’t know what you expected.

Yeah I never saw beta or alpha as a perk in the past and only played it to get in practice raids. Now that im far more casual ive not bothered logging in beyond checking something for a guildie.

My advice would be to enjoy it once its cooked.

Im thinking some things reported, the fixes for them aren’t applied until live. The Expedition Yak still crashes the client after mounting. Been reported about 2 weeka now.

Screw the beta. I’m still upset over here because they stopped season 4 in DF for item upgrades. Over a month before the expansion drop. Grrrr

Thanks, leave beta up to people who actually want to participate in a beta test.

They will be there based on how badly they screw you over. Game breaking bugs that don’t allow quest progression will take 6-8 months. Things that only effect one or two classes (heroic leap/blink bugs, ect), there till the end of time.
Unless it allows you to skip a rep grind, then they’ll fix it so fast, your head will spin.

The real Beta starts until Aug 26.

I honestly never hopped in this one
for very long. Because I wanna enjoy the game when it releases. However your post, it’s the post that popped up in my Google feed. Is it just the The features of the beta that you don’t like, or is it the gameplay itself.

I havent had any issues with my ui resetting and ive been playing beta since day 1.

I do miss being able to select what zone to jump to but ah well.

If you want to test end game stuff, choose the eleven realm and start at level 80.
