I finished the campaign and from what I understand, any subsequent alts I bring to Dorn are supposed to get a choice of whether they do the campaign again or some alternate route.
I brought 3 different guys through and have yet to find anywhere to do this.
So far I only found a spider dude with a purple triangle quest to go to the spider kingdom, the paladin everyone ragged on with a quest to do 6 WQs, another triangle quest for omens or some such thing and what appears to be the chain for the new race.
I inadvertently nearly finished the unlock chain, so I guess I am doing that for the time being.
the 2 skips ive noticed were
1 from Magni (?) to skip all the Dalalran stuff and go straight to Dornagal.
2 from Brann to skip the intro to the delve storyline
The 3 guys I tried hadn’t accepted the initial quest line, and there wasn’t anything to pick up. So I went through the portal room and couldn’t find anything of note.
Going to try a different guy that has the quest in their queue tomorrow when I get home and see if there is anything different.
When you finish the leveling campaign, you get a pop up telling you that you unlocked adventure mode.
Other than skipping the intro, there’s nothing else you need to do. World quests and all zone’s quest lines are open to your alts from the moment they arrive in dornogal, and you can choose to do them in any order.
When you reach 80 on that alt, you will be given the option to skip all leveling campaign quest you didn’t complete while leveling, and skip right to max level campaign stuff. You do not need to do the max level campaign to unlock this.
Not Dalaran. You will have a scroll in your bag that sends you to silithus. Take that and the NPCs should eventually give you an “I heard this all before” option to skip the intro quest and go straight to dornogal.
The Dalaran questline is the pre-launch quest. You dont need to do that to start TWW stuff.
Once you unlock world quests, they are available to all characters. Some other bits of content unlock for all characters long the way (eg: the big lamplighter quest hub in Hallowfall).
When you complete the campaign once, alts are offered (at Brann’s table) a choice of jumping into any zone’s campaign directly. Also, when an alt reaches 80, they can skip the rest of the levelling campaign (again at Brann) they haven’t finished.
You basically have the option to jump back and forth in how you level characters.
It sounds like you did not fully complete/finish the main campaign storyline quests the first time around OP
I would go back on your main with wowhead open on a second monitor (or phone), then go thru your completed quests “with a fine-tooth comb” to identify which campaign quests you may have missed while leveling up
wowhead has copy-paste strings to check completion for each quest, so using those you should find/identify the missing (or skipped) storyline campaign quests fairly quick
He did complete it. He was just asking how to activate it, because it isn’t made fairly obvious that adventure mode is always active once you’ve unlocked it. You just have to do/skip the introduction questline to get started.
