Don’t you think compared to one-handed weapons, the two-handed weapons look awful (for axes, maces and swords). I mean these Two-Handed Weapons are used by 6 specs in the game, and really used in the full animation of Warriors, Death knights and Rets. Their counterparts are only used in a similar ways for rogues, DH (no DH really uses other than glaives), forst (uses both) and enhance, the caster classes which use swords don’t really use them, its mainly waving hands and so and most can use really good looking staffs.
And yet, more effort are put on 1-H weps than 2-H weps, I know this is beta, but just look at these two-handed weapons for covenants…
Kyrian 1-H swords looks amazing, the 2-H swords looks like a Dull NPC wep that will show you where is the barber shop. Necrolords 1-H is okey, the 2-H swords looks like a very early leveling wep, maybe better fit for the new leveling zone they introduced. Venthyr 1-handed swords is good looking, the 2-Handed one is okey, the maces are … Night Fae 1-H sword looks elegant and nice, the 2-Handed mace in the other hands looks like a TBC dungeon blue weapon.
I mean c’mon, these type of weapons are largest in the game (more space to work), the more used as in really used for swing and attack animation, Art team that develops weapons should prioritize these kind of weapons, They do a good job in Polearms and no one uses them…
If you mean right now, then you need to take one off of your 2H list and add it to the DW list since Frost is DW. If you mean in Shadowlands, then you still need to add Frost to the list that uses 1H.
I’ll do you one better. This has all of those and more and, after looking through it, I still have to disagree. If anything, I like the 2H weapons more overall since I’m not really a fan of the 1H maces.
if maces are bad doesn’t mean that the 2-Handers become okey, if you compare the respective version sword to swords axe to axe, mace to mace for each covenant, the 1-handed versions look more animated more complex and overall better looking this time
Cmon, compare the 1handed sword for Kyrian to the 2H version, Necrolords do the same, Revendreth i said it’s Okey. for night fae i don’t think they will be adding a 2-H sword
I compared them and the only group that had a noticeable disparity was maces. The rest are about equal for me. I like most of the models on both sides. You may not like the 2H models but that doesn’t make them objectively worse.
Again, it’s subjective. I really like the 2h Kyrian questing sword. Nothing gaudy it’s just a big huge sword lol. I will say I really like the 1h aswell and it would be sweet to have a 2h version of them (mainly cause I don’t play a lot of 1h using specs.) but I still don’t think the 2h weapons are bad.
Although on a off note man I want a 2h rapier. Like so badly.
