"Two Forms" should be a TOGGLE!

I kind of want this for entropic embrace, too.

Honestly, I don’t think that will happen. Blizzard thinks of Void Elves as Void Elves. Not High Elves. They corrupted the wish.

Yup, I agree, mine does inscription, and I always have to stop milling herbs to stop him from snorting all the flowers.

BAD DOG!

I’d actually really like this, being able to automatically drop out of Wolf form when out of combat, but only if they actually made our human form somewhat different from regular boring humans.
I think it’s the one thing I regret about my Worgen: in human form they are indistinguishable from other humans until they speak and you hear their peculiar accent.

I’d have liked things like scars, and slightly more mussed up hair styles. something to make them look and feel as though they are really toeing that fine line between beast and man.

Sounds like the same sort of people who want to be able to bear tank while in “human form”.

Is this going to be the new give Void elves everything Belf and rename them High Elves type thread but for Worgen .

Give us Worgens in human form so we can have skinny human druids and rename the race selection from Worgen to Gilnean

I would like to play my worgen as a human so my druid could enjoy the nice new human stuff. And the less dramatic worgen animations and idle sniffing sound.

Personally, I’d like it if you only went into Worgen form if you performed a hostile action. Simply riding my horse along the countryside and having a wolf look at me crosseyed shouldn’t be enough for my Gilnean to shift into Worgen form.

That’s another option, but it might be overcomplicating it. All I want is a slight bit of automation for an option that already exists. I don’t need that functionality to be altered or do anything that it can’t do already.

All I want is switching back to Human form after combat or shapeshifting to be optionally automated. No need to make it more complex than that.

Functionally, you’d be able to do that without the added mental load if they just made it a toggle.

There used to be a sound add on that made it so you used the human form voice in Worgen form. If you look at Celeste of the Harvest and Fiona both use a normal sounding voice rather than the 2000 year smokers voice.

I don’t think WoW is built for customization that granular.

The thing is, this would be a choice. Right now people have to force themselves into and out of werewolf form while out of combat. The functionality of two forms should be if you do or do not turn into a human while out of combat. If you change your mind, use the two forms ability again, just like you do now. All this would change is the persistence of the choice.

In combat, there is no option. That should stay as just an established fact of the race. As misunderstanding people have stated: If you want that just play a boring human.

I think there should be a toggle option though (by speaking to a racial leader like Genn) where you can be human in combat but automatically transform after drooping below a certain health threshold like 50% hp. We have seen Worgen like Genn fight in Human form until they lose HP then transform and start tearing the living daylights out of there enemy.

True. Vulpera are disgusting. Worgen didn’t get a choice. Vulpera just live like that. If I was born a Vulpera I would sprint to Nazmir to be sacrificed.

When it comes to cinematics and combat, the line is fuzzier. (No pun intended) The worgen racials are based on the bestial aspect, and they should not have access to those racials while in human form. Mechanically combat is the way to handle things, it can and should be more dramatic in a cinematic to add excitement.

Well obviously on all fours and Darkflight should activate Worgen form on use.

But in general combat I don’t think it hurts the race identity of worgen for allowing them to fight in human form until they drop to a certain HP threshold.

The use of these should reflect the bestial nature of the race. Their icons reflect this. Blizzard made it combat for a reason. If you want to sit in human form, play a human. Combat is the clear line in the game mechanics for this change.

What about an idea I had. Turn two forms into a toggle ability. If you have it on auto cast when you leave combat you will go into human form once your out of combat. If the toggle is on you can remain human look till you hit 50% hp then your forced into the Worgen shape-shifting till combat is over. If the ability isn’t on auto cast you transform in combat like it is now.

I think this is why people oppose simple ideas - because when someone asks for a inch, people pile on their own requests amounting to a mile. The inch was reasonable. The mile is not.
