Two Event Mounts - Got 'em both, but

Neither count toward the Mount Collection Achievement total :frowning:

EDIT: Someone below suggested logging onto my Paladin and see if that updates it. It did. So so odd.

That stinks. Sorry. I didn’t think either were that big a deal, but to each their own. At least you can ride them.

Log onto your character with the most mounts (usually a Paladin, due to legion) to update it.

Korrak’s Revenge can get you some old PvP mount.

It’s not an old PvP mount, it’s a remake and update of the original AV mounts with modern assets.

I dunno about that, you can basically count the pixels on the old ones while the new ones use Legion-quality models. For reference here are the Horde versions:


They barely look like they are from the same game to me, idk.

Keep in mind that even if you get both the Alliance and Horde AV mounts, it will only count as 1 for increasing your mount total.

I logged onto my Paladin. Lord of the Reins now updates from 294/300 to 296! Thanks.

No problem.

The game counts mount total on only your character that has access to the most. Since legion gave paladins like 3 or 4 class mounts + their original vanilla class mount they usually have the most.

Is the other one (not doomwalker) the same korrak’s mount from the past events, where if you got it on horde you also got it on alliance ? Or something added this year ?

The pair from last year? It is nice that they re-released them for people who missed it.

Plus the paladin only mount from the Argent Tournament in WotLK. :slightly_smiling_face:

Unpopular opinion, but while I like both, I think the original is prettier. I wish new models didn’t keep washing out vibrant colors :weary:

Still waiting on a 500 mount collection achievement, so I can yawn, go back to sleep and mutter “wake me up when they add a 700 or 750 mount achievement.”

I have 144 mounts.

I’ve been eternally stuck at 347/350 for the 350 achievement. Even 9.1.5 which allowed more mounts to be usable didn’t push me over it. It’s so stupid this is still broken.
