So I think the idea on a fundamental level is good. But a couple things are holding it back.

Being realm locked. Yes, I get the ideas that region wide crafting could cause with high end guilds and the RWF, but for people on low pop servers they won’t see much benefit from crafting orders.

The location. Yea, I get it it’s in the new main hub so this is a lesser problem. But there should be a work order station next to ever main AH, like Org and SW.
One of the big problems is that most of the more complex recipes use materials crafted by the profession—like bolts for engineering, or those runed writhebark things—which you can’t really do anything about. I might have 500 Severite Ore but if the recipe calls for severite bolts I can’t craft, I may as well just track down an engineer and trade them the materials directly.
It’d be nice if I could provide materials for the component parts.

Yeah the step by step process for some stuff is annoying too
I have a leatherworking daily for points - that requires two bows… which needs Runed Writhebark. Unfortunately the character I need them on is Horde and the character that makes them is Alliance. Without being able to make a crafting order - I have to either buy them from the auction house or find a horde player who can make it. It is incredibly frustrating sometimes. (AH pricing is stupid high for this item rn)
