We gave you proof of them fixing things from BfA and you’re lashing out at everybody, i’m not sure what else you want to hear.
They wont ever announce actual numbers anymore, but I would be surprised if its less than 10 million. Subscribers should be higher now with Covid and people staying home.
The press release does share a little info though.
- In the months leading up to the expansion’s release and the time since launch, the game reached and has sustained its highest number of players on monthly or longer-term subscriptions compared to the same period ahead of and following any WoW expansion in the past decade, in both the West and the East.
- Players have spent more time in Azeroth year to date than in the same period of any of the last 10 years.
- In addition, total player time in game this year to date has nearly doubled compared to the same period last year.

If they had more than their peak, they would have given us a real number. They’re being vague about it to pump up investor moral while covering their butts so as not to get pinned for fraud.

just unsub then. if you’re unhappy since wrath this isn’t the game for you. it’s not hard. i’ve unsubbed before. like when argus was a no fly zone i unsubbed for months cuz i was annoyed. didn’t make an angry forum post. just left my note in the unsub box. this isn’t you being passionate about the game and wanting it fixed. it’s you throwing a tantrum and attacking people who don’t agree with you.

They did in bfa, resulting in them reworking systems and rewards/introducing currencies. The problem is, they don’t learn from the past. It’s been proven over and over that the players know how things will play out much better than the devs. The devs just have too much pride to admit it.

They literally fixed everything from BfA in SL.
make your own MMO then if you think you can do so much better. wow is king to this day, for a reason.
Their systems are by far worse. Their rewards are worse. Their end game zone is worse. I fail to see what you’re seeing.
WoW used to boast 12 mil subs. Oh how the king has fallen.

Visions got removed for one, Loot actually means something now that isn’t raining from the sky like in BfA and they even fixed a lot of class issues and PvP is fun again and not 50 minute long matches.

Every class can 1 shot now, there might be FOTM stuff like MM hunter or Sub Rogue but they’ll get balanced. It’s only been 3 weeks, it takes time to balance.
Yea…and when they get balanced they won’t be viable anymore. Blizzard balances with a sledge hammer. So I still don’t see how it will be better.
What are you on about? MM Hunter was very strong, they did a PvP nerf yet it’s still viable in 2s and is top DPS in PvE.
Yea, WoW went from being the massively untouchable as far as the most profitable MMO experience to just untouchable after almost two decades of being the literal face of online gaming.
I have my problems with the company, the same as anybody, but swinging hard into hyperbole and trying to pretend that this franchise hasn’t been massively and universally successful isn’t helping anyone’s argument.
